The project is located at Hwy 158 Mile post 75.5 Lancaster, Ohio. The LEADCAP test section starts from mile post 75.5 to mile post 85.5 with a total of 1 mile length. The HMA mixtures starts right after the LEADCAP test section at mile post 85.5. A 3.0 inch asphalt layer was constructed in two lifts: an intermediate layer with a thickness of 1.75 inch, and surface layer with a thickness of 1.25 inch. Average Percent Density of Three Cores from the surface layer was 96.0% (average of 3 cores of 95.9, 96.4 and 95.6).
