Doug Clement

Doug Clement has been involved in hundreds of paving projects, both concrete and asphalt. Prior to opening CMT in 2001, he was the Construction Division Manager for Stork Patzig Testing in Des Moines.  He began his career in construction quality control and testing in 1991 with Standard Testing of Oklahoma City. He has worked on some of the largest highway and airport paving projects in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and has assisted in the airport reconstruction and establishment of a quality control program and laboratory on Grand Cayman Island.  CMT provides testing and engineering services for the public agencies like Urbandale, Ames, Altoona, Ankeny and Des Moines  and private corporations for projects Marriott Town Center and Jordan Creek Mall.  CMT is the only accredited independent laboratory conducting smoothness and plant inspection work during heavy highway construction in Iowa.
